Merchandise Fell on a Woman While
Shopping
Jury Verdict for 6 Times the Last Settlement Offer Before
Trial
A woman was
shopping at a local Walmart store when she alleged that a
shop vacuum fell from an upper shelf and hit her in the
head. Attorney James Hall tried the case
before a jury and proved that Walmart failed to follow its
own rules as to safe stacking of merchandise.
A video of the incident was alleged to have been
altered and Attorney Hall surmises that the jury disbelieved
the testimony of a Walmart employee claiming that the video
was not altered when the video clearly showed gaps in time.
