Rhode Island and Connecticut Injury Lawyers Record of Success for Auto Accident
Back Surgery Due to a Two Car Auto
Accident
Arbitrated - Policy Limit of $250,000
On an icy winter morning, an active,
professional woman was driving to work when another car
pulled out in front of her. Both drivers claimed to
have the right of way and both admitted that it was icy that
morning. Our client suffered serious back injury that
ultimately required surgery. After proving that the
collision was the other driver’s fault, Attorney Hall
further proved that the need for surgery was related to the
motor vehicle collision. The arbitrator did not
believe the other driver’s attorney who argued that the
injuries were pre-existing due to equestrian activity and
simply getting older. The Arbitrator awarded our
client $250,000. This amount was in addition to
medical bills that were already paid by insurance.
